These pictures are worth a thousand words. More to come.

Broken crank - not mine, not sure whose it is. It is a stock 25HP crank.
Bad pulley - this is what happens when you try to use a aluminum pulley with no steel sleeve on a sand seal setup.
Cracked remote filter housing
Worn pushrod - stock one on my bus engine. Pushrod tube shifted and bent, causing rub. Talk about CLOSE.
Stretched head stud. This was a Bugpack stud that never saw more than 20 ft-lbs of torque.
Rough bearing (#4, probably lack of oil, some pounding)
Pitted cam - weak springs are probably the cause, not for sure, but it sucked.
Sand seal - we don't know what happened here.
